The Indian Army is the second largest army in the world, and is a branch of Indian armed forces, specialized in operating on land. It is also the largest component of the Indian armed forces. the chief responsibilities of the Indian Army include national security and maintaining unity, protecting India from external and internal threats, maintaining peace and security within Indian borders, and also conducting rescue operations during natural calamities and disasters.
How to join Indian army
Every year Indian army conduct examination for the rank of Commissioned Officers and Non Commissioned Officers
Commission rank consisted of general , lt. general, major, general, brigadier, colonel, major, captain and lieutenant, Non Commissioned Officers rank consisted of Havildar, Lance Naik , sepoy.
Commissioned Officers rank can be join through NDA, CDSE exam wile Non commissioned rank can be join through direct notification of state rally and examination conducted for general duty, technical, clerk and medical assistance.
GD (GROUND DUTY)
Qualification: 10th Pass with 60% ,10+2 with 50% marks from any subject Age: 17 to 20years (at the time of commencement of course) Exam Pattern: Written exam followed by physical fitness ability test and medical examination. Written exam consist of General Knowledge General science &Math’s.
Qualification:10+2 with 60% marks from (physics, chemistry, Math’s) only for male. AGE:17 to 21 years(at the time of commencement of course) Written pattern written exam followed by physical fitness ability test QUALIFICATION: 10+2 (WITH PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS) Final Year Eligible
Examination pattern: Written exam followed by SSB
Written exam: two papers consisting of general awareness mathematics and reasoning
SSB: 5 Days SSB Program
1Day- Screening Tests
2 days- Psychological Tests
3&4 day- GTO Tasks
5 days- Conference Day
