AA (ARTIFICER APPRENTICE)

Artificer Apprentice (AA) is one such post that recruits young and dynamic candidates at a very stage of their life. It gives you a chance to grow with the Indian Navy and earn the most valued respect within the society. Artificers are highly skilled technical sailors who deal with “high tech” equipment and are the backbone of today’s “technology intensive” Navy. Promotions and Career Prospects of Artificers are better than other Sailors. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be unmarried male Indian citizens.

Candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with 60% marks or more in aggregate in Math’s and Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science.

Age-Candidate must be of the age group between 17-20 years of age at the time of the examination.

Notification generally comes in the month Dec/Jan and Jun/Jul every year

Written exam followed by physical and medical examination

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

Will consist of

1.6 Km runs to be completed in 7 minutes,

20 squat ups

And 10 Push-ups
