The SSR forms come out twice every year, mainly in the month of June and December.

Through this vacancy person designated as a sailor and work on powerful, modern ships such as Aircraft Carriers, Guided Missile Destroyers and Frigates, Replenishment Ships and highly technical and fascinating submarines and aircraft. Eligibility Criteria
Qualification 10+2 from Physics Chemistry with 50% marks Compulsory subjects- Math’s and Physics. Optional subjects- Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science.

Age Limit: Candidate must be between 17-21 of age at the time of appearing for the exam.

Minimum height of 154 cm.

Minimum chest expansion of 5 cm.

Examination pattern

Election of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups and 10 Push-ups.

The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Awareness.

The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2.

Duration of question paper will be of one hour (60 minutes).
